Exhibiting for the first time at the Gallery: Marie-Ange Brassard, Norman Brooke, Adèle Bruneau, Marie France Cournoyer, Valérie Desmarais, Maryse Fillion, Céline Gignac, Annis Karpenko, Hélène Raymond Amyot, Ewa Scheer, Johanne Tardif, Sylvie Therrien, Angelika vonder Rhur and Richard Wellbrenner.
Some of the questions the works in this show respond to are: How does totem manifest in contemporary society? What beings in our society carry mythical weight? Does the totem still have a place in today’s society and if so, what is it?
The show continues until April 11. Please note that the Gallery will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 12.
The Gallery is located at 7 Academy in Sutton and is open from Thursday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and all are welcome.
