A fundraiser is being held to raise funds to stop the destruction of a historical monument in Brome Lake Knowlton. The Paul Holland Knowlton House is going to be torn apart by the private Golf Club to make parking spaces for golfers. Tearing down the history of Knowlton for golfers? This is an outrage. The forefathers and mothers of Brome Lake must be crying in their graves seeing how their heritage is being ransacked.

A spit roast dinner will be held on Sunday, July 6 at Thirsty Boot, located at 25 Bolton Pass Road in Bolton West.  All proceeds will be put towards saving Paul Holland Knowlton House.

Tickets ($20 each) are available at Thirsty Boot, Brome Lake Books or by calling  450-243-6059.

Great prizes will be given!  John William is donating a beautiful photo of the Musical Ride and Louise Penny is donating a pair of tickets for Sunshine Theatre's ART at play August 1-7.
