Barnes General Store in Knowlton Quebec will be on the spotlight on Saturday, July 6  during the filming by the Historia Television Channel  for a special series featuring  The general store.
 
In addition, during the same day, Barnes General Store will celebrate its 5 years of opening at 39 Victoria Street in Knowlton, Lac-Brome.
 
To mark the occasion, all hardware and paint products will be sold without taxes.

 

And that's not all! Barnes  will also offer several in-store tastings plus many discounts on a variety of items.

Barnes General used to be known as Flannigans and is a real institution in Knowlton. Wood floors, old fashioned candy counter, lots of tiny nooks and crannies and a dusty and old fashioned feel that was always friendly and made you feel like you were stepping back into 1880 Knowlton!
