Six major duvks parade in the streets of Knowlton  this weekend and popular meat Brome Lake Ducks will be on the menu as the village of the Eastern Townships celebrated her birthday 19th annual duck Saturday and Sunday, and the next weekend of 27 and 28 September. large birds, feathers will be available to talk to young and old, pose for pictures, and lead visitors to kiosks offering snacks duck of all varieties, and other local specialties. Theme of this year's festival is the story of 100 years of Brome Lake Ducks and giant duck farm on the shores of Lake Brome. Other duck recipes to be sold include duck shot, duck poutine, grilled duck, duck breast marinated duck and sliders. Two food trucks will distribute pancakes, barbecued foods, cookies and apple desserts.

Leaders demonstrate daily cooking duck in the gazebo in the park. Snacks in the demos will be offered for $ 4 to $ 5 cover. Hours for demos: noon, 1:30 p.m. ET 15 hours except for Sept. 28, when the time will be twelve o'clock and 13 o'clock, followed at 14:30 by the annual race dozens of rubber ducks. Prizes will be awarded to the authors of ducks floating first to cross the finish line.

Eight restaurants in Knowlton and the surrounding region offer special duck dishes on their menus during the festival.
