dear Destination Knowlton,

since you have been very quiet about Lac Brome for months now, and since the other blog in town ran by your friend Morris seems on the decline as well, I have decided to do something about it!

I have created a new bilingual blog called www.bromeblog.com

Not sure if you will publish this as it may take away some of your business... but I see that you must have moved on as lots of happy fun stuff is happening with our town that is getting ready to borrow millions of dollars in the name of development.  The population needs a place to talk!

So please, be kind enough to look up my blog and suggest ideas if you can, I liked the mind bending articles you wrote in the past!  be welcome to repost on my new blog www.bromeblog.com

Regards,

Awesome job BB! I'm glad someone is carrying on the torch of creating a lively internet presence for people to learn and discuss about Knowlton. In my years running DK I had emails from all over the world and people coming looking for information on the people events hotels and activities in the area.

Such a town really can use the Internet to create a nice brand!

I will certainly post some comments on your blog if I see anything that gets my interest.

Not sure if I will ever be back to Brome Lake but if I do I will cerrtainly add some posts on DK as well as see what you are talking about on your Brome Blog!

Keep it up!

Thanks Admin!
I read some of your old post on DK... too bad you are not here anymore! Made me laugh!  some people did not like the tongue in cheek approach it seems!
I also read the infamous blog of Mr. Croghan... woah!  the guy has some anger issues I guess...  I would be scared to meet him!!!

Well I will try my best at bromeblog.com and see how it goes.  I get my topics from the local newspapers and discussions on the streets.  I may be naive but it seems like nobody is asking council tough questions about their handling of tax payers... what a motley crew!

My next topics will try to handle what local politicians are doing...  like the wine tasting party for old mayors and councilors on invitation only.. I thought that was ridiculous!  Let's see what these politicians are hiding or if they are worth trusting... I hear sarcastic comments everywhere I go... and it seems to me that chamber of commerce bashing is the number one sport in this town.  Never seen that before!  Either they really screwed up or this town has a dozen psychos on the prowl!   Maybe both?   Thanks for the thumbs-up!
