Winning business in the contest Coup de coeur – Town for the Town Brome Lake

The Brome Lake Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the store T Room located at 255 Knowlton Road in Knowlton, Lac-Brome won the prize for the contest Coup de coeur in the Town of Brome Lake.

The competition was created as part of the Gala Excellence of Brome-Missisquoi to be held on October 24, 2015.

The other companies that were proposed by the Towns’ residents for the competition are:

– Le Panier Champêtre
– Ô Paradis Animal

Fundraiser with Olympic gold medalist Caroline Ouellette & music of The Beatles

Quadruple Olympic gold medalist Caroline Ouellette is teaming up with Barry F. Lorenzetti, President, CEO and Founder of BFL CANADA, for a benefit concert to be held on September 25th to raise funds for the Quebec and Ontario Provincial Women’s Hockey associations.

“I want to promote the sport that has enabled me to better myself while representing my country and to help pave the way for young girls and women who are interested in joining”, comments Mrs. Ouellette. She will also be addressing the audience before the concert.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by the well-known tribute band REPLAY The Beatles. Spectators will no doubt relive great memories – enthusiasm and nostalgia guaranteed!

Mr. Lorenzetti, involved in many causes to support children and women and also Vice-Chairman for the Hockey Canada Foundation, is pleased by the prospect of producing the show: “Combining my love of hockey and the music of the Beatles makes for an innovative way to support Women’s Hockey.”

The concert will be held at the Lakeview Inn in Knowlton at 7:30 PM on September 25th. Tickets are available at $ 55 by contacting the Lakeview Inn directly at 1 800 661-6183.
