Townshippers’ Day 2015 in Brome
The Town of Brome Lake and Brome Village are joining forces with Townshippers’ Association to host the 36th edition of Townshippers’ Day on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Brome Fairgrounds! Under the theme ‘Strong Roots, Growing Together,’ join us in celebrating the creativity, heritage, and vitality of the English-speaking community of the historical Eastern Townships at this bilingual family-friendly cultural festival and information fair! December 2nd Santa Claus Christmas Parade 2006 Santa Claus Parade in Lac Brome The traditional and much-loved parade through the streets of Knowlton featuring decorated floats, firetrucks, horses, clowns and all sort of Christmas fun that is very popular with kids of all ages. The parade usually starts around 1 p.m. and winds from Victoria street to Lakeside and down to Knowlton Road. The long parade route means a great vantage point can be found anywhere in town. The topic of this meeting is: Days of Victory: 60th Anniversary Edition. This promises to be the biggest party of the season with music, food, rides, and more animals and fun than you can shake a stick at!
